Second Championship competition

Yesterday, our senior RG team competed at the 2nd Championship competition of A1 program in group exercises, held in Maribor. It was a long day, because the first category started around noon and the last category at 6 pm.

Our girls arrived around 10 o'clock and made their competition look. After warm up, they practiced the routines and were ready to compete. Our pair (Sara and Laura) and triplet (Teja, Zala, Teja) competed in the category of senior pairs/triplets. It was a bad day for all the competitors in this category, because there were lots of drops. Triplet competed as no. 6 and unfortunately made many execution mistakes including drops. They ended on 7th place with the score of 4,600 (D2,100 E2,200 +0,3). Pair was up next and also did too many drops to score better than 5th with 5,650(D3,300 E2,050 +0,3).


After disappointing routines, girls went on a lunch and returned in the afternoon for group competition. Around 6 pm started absolute category of group exercises without apparatus. Our girls placed 4th out of 8 teams with a very strong routine, but it wasn't enough for the podium. The improvement was very well seen and they received a high score of 10,050 (D5,000 E5,050), which is the highest score of our team in this season! 


We learned a lot from this competition and will now work hard towards the final of the season - National Championships in Murska Sobota, only one month away.

31st International Tournament Ljubljana

This weekend Slovenian club for rhythmic gymnastics KRG Narodni dom held the traditional International Tournament ''MTM'' in Ljubljana's Gymnastics center. This year was already the 31st edition of it. Our girls have been attended it for the fourth consecutive year now and it was amazing, as always. Sara and Maja with Polina Shmatko, Lala Kramarenko and Sofia Nikeeva from Russia Since the amazing edition in 2016, when all biggest stars came to compete, we've all been expecting even more amazing gymnasts from all around the world. This year, one of the top gymnasts came to Ljubljana, such as Julia Evchik (Belarus), Alexandra Agiurgiuculese (Italy), Nicol Zelikman (Israel) and Polina Shmatko (Russia) - medalists from the 2016 Junior European Championships in Holon, Natela Bolataeva (Georgia) , Anna Sokolova (Russia), Lala Kramarenko (Russia) and others. Among them, of course, were also excellent Slovenian hopes - Aleksandra Podgoršek, Aja Jerman Buka

Dream TiM Cup 2018

March brought us a lot of new experiences. One of these happened last weekend. A few months ago, we were thinking: Why not try something new and take part in an international competition? And by chance we encountered the first version of international tournament Dream TiM Cup, which took place in Ljubljana from 16-18 March. We were so happy that we actually found a competition that has a senior category of groups in B program. That's why we applied for it. We came to the hall late in the morning, at 10 o'clock. We immediately fell in love with the hall, which was beautifully prepared and gave us a good first impression. While we were doing our hairstyles and makeup, we enjoyed the performances of girls and pre-juniors in individual exercises. Then we went to the training area and did our usual training, including warm-up, stretching and practicing our balances. AGG World Championships 2018

On Thursday, June 7, our girls Sara, Laura and Maja, together with the coaches of our club, went to the XIX. World Championship of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics, which was held in Budapest last weekend. The road to there was long, but we returned home full of new experiences and knowledge.  We enjoyed watching the competition in a wonderful atmosphere. We came there as supporters of the Finnish team Minetit, so we are proud of them, winning two silver medals in both Junior and Senior category. In addition to this, we also met many other teams on the trip. Thank you everyone for a friendly response, it was nice to meet you! And congratulations to everyone!
