Team Voranc

Last Saturday, April 21st, we competed at the Second Championship Competition of Group compostitions. The competiton for A program was held early in the morning, so the A1 program was sooner than usual. It pleased us, because our member had the prom date on the same day.  As we have already said in previous posts, last month we were facing injuries and illnesses, so we wern't in the best possible way and almost gave up participation in the competitions. We are happy that we didn't, because in spite of the difficulties we managed to achieve a lot. We were very pleased that our competition part began with a category of exercises with apparatus, that we got rid of the stress of the apparatus as soon as possible. The routine was surprisingly good. Nevertheless, we made some minor mistakes, which were completely unnecessary, but in the end we did not expect such a good ranking. Our seniors Nina and Maja took part in Aesthetic Group Gymnastics World Cup II as volunteers for a second year in a row. Last year, Padua was great, but this time it was even better. The second stage of World Cup took part in Graz, Austria from the 13th to 15th of April. Volunteering must be our favourite hobby, since we are doing it every month :P It was a great honor to be part of such a big event and as always, we enjoyed every single part of it. We can no longer count how many events we have already attended as volunteers, although not always in large numbers. Congratulations, of course, to the organizers, that they took us in so nicely and offered us a place of volunteers.    Pictures with our favourites! In Saturday, April 14th, our club traditionally organized the Regional Championship in rhythmic and aesthetic gymnastics of C program. The competition was very nice and the atmosphere was very good! In the morning there was a competition for younger categories - girls and pre-juniors. At 14:30 the competition started for older categories - juniors and seniors.  At first, Saura performed their pair routine for A1 program, which was a general training for them, because the next Saturday we're continuing the race at the 2nd Championship Competition. The routine was very well performed and the audience really enjoyed it! In the category of pre-juniors were 25 groups competing with apparatus. Voranc 1 competed with balls and placed 6th. Voranc 2 made a mistake and landed on 11th place. Both teams made it to the first half, so they successfully qualified to the National Championships in May. Seniors went to the competition with good thoughts because they had only a goal:

This weekend Slovenian club for rhythmic gymnastics KRG Narodni dom held the traditional International Tournament ''MTM'' in Ljubljana's Gymnastics center. This year was already the 31st edition of it. Our girls have been attended it for the fourth consecutive year now and it was amazing, as always. Sara and Maja with Polina Shmatko, Lala Kramarenko and Sofia Nikeeva from Russia Since the amazing edition in 2016, when all biggest stars came to compete, we've all been expecting even more amazing gymnasts from all around the world. This year, one of the top gymnasts came to Ljubljana, such as Julia Evchik (Belarus), Alexandra Agiurgiuculese (Italy), Nicol Zelikman (Israel) and Polina Shmatko (Russia) - medalists from the 2016 Junior European Championships in Holon, Natela Bolataeva (Georgia) , Anna Sokolova (Russia), Lala Kramarenko (Russia) and others.
