Highlights from February

This month we were working hard, because of the upcoming competitions and now we're prepared to compete. We chose some highlights from trainings and preparations :) Our gym was renovated and now the girls are training in better conditions.

15th Friendship Tournament

Today was the last competition for our girls. They finished the season at 15th Friendship Tournament in Ljubljana organised by KRG Šiška.  Our triplet - Teja, Zala and Teja competed with their ball routine and placed 2nd in senior category with score 6,500 ! Bravo girls!

Nationals 2019 A1 program

Yesterday our teams competed at the 2019 National Championships in rhythmic gymnastics of A1 program held in Murska Sobota. We came home with silver medal and great experience. Our girls from RG team competed in the category of senior pairs/triplets, which began at 16:35. Our triplet Teja, Zala and Teja competed as number 2. The routine was mostly clean, but few drops cost them a better result. They got 6,050 (D2,500 E3,250 B0,3) which was higher than on previous competition and placed 5th. Saura started as 5th and they managed to do a great routine but with few drops. They placed 2nd with 7,350 (D3,600 E3,450 B0,3) even though one gymnast injured during the beginning of routine. Because of that, they continued competition with 5 girls. At 19:00 started the absolute category of free routines. Albatraoz started as number 1 with only 5 girls and they did a great routine! They got 9,550 (D5,100 E4,450) and placed 7th, but the differences were very small - they were 0,55 awa...

Dream TiM Cup 2019

Yesterday our senior RG group competed at International tournament Dream TiM Cup in Ljubljana. This was their first competition this season and in this new composition. Girls were satisfied with the performance, but the score should be higher. The category of Junior & Senior Groups without apparatus started at around 10 o'clock. Our girls competed as the last in category. The routine was well performed, with small execution mistakes, but the energy was great. They received the score of 8,750 (D 4,400 3 4,350) with second best execution score and lower difficulty than expected, but now we know what we need to work on until the 1st Championship competition next weekend. Unfortunately, they ended on 4th place, but it was a great experience and good start into the season.
