Team Voranc

Yesterday our teams competed at the 2019 National Championships in rhythmic gymnastics of A1 program held in Murska Sobota. We came home with silver medal and great experience. Our girls from RG team competed in the category of senior pairs/triplets, which began at 16:35. Our triplet Teja, Zala and Teja competed as number 2. The routine was mostly clean, but few drops cost them a better result. They got 6,050 (D2,500 E3,250 B0,3) which was higher than on previous competition and placed 5th. Saura started as 5th and they managed to do a great routine but with few drops. They placed 2nd with 7,350 (D3,600 E3,450 B0,3) even though one gymnast injured during the beginning of routine. Because of that, they continued competition with 5 girls. At 19:00 started the absolute category of free routines. Albatraoz started as number 1 with only 5 girls and they did a great routine! They got 9,550 (D5,100 E4,450) and placed 7th, but the differences were very small - they were 0,55 awa

Last Saturday our teams competed at the 2019 Regional Championship in rhythmic and aesthetic group gymnastics and brought home three medals in four categories! The competition started early in the morning where our small girls competed with balls and won gold medal! Girls in higher category placed 6th with balls. Our senior RG team also performed with all three routines for A1 program, which went well. In the afternoon, our AGG national team competed for the first time this season. After they finished their competition look, which will be the same in Spain, they did the usual warm up routine and prepared for the competition. Meanwhile our juniors won silver medal with balls.  The senior category of group exercises in aesthetic group gymnastics started at 16:30 and our girls competed as no. 6. The routine went great and they made just two execution mistakes, which we can fix. The energy was very strong and it was really seen, that they were enjoying the routine. They

Yesterday, our senior RG team competed at the 2nd Championship competition of A1 program in group exercises, held in Maribor. It was a long day, because the first category started around noon and the last category at 6 pm. Our girls arrived around 10 o'clock and made their competition look. After warm up, they practiced the routines and were ready to compete. Our pair (Sara and Laura) and triplet (Teja, Zala, Teja) competed in the category of senior pairs/triplets. It was a bad day for all the competitors in this category, because there were lots of drops. Triplet competed as no. 6 and unfortunately made many execution mistakes including drops. They ended on 7th place with the score of 4,600 (D2,100 E2,200 +0,3). Pair was up next and also did too many drops to score better than 5th with 5,650 (D3,300 E2,050 +0,3). After disappointing routines, girls went on a lunch and returned in the afternoon for group competition. Around 6 pm started absolute category of group exercises

Yesterday our seniors competed at the 1st Championship competition of A1 program. Team Voranc in total received two bronze medals, one fifth and one seventh place, which is a great start of a competition season. The competition for older categories started at 14:30. Our girls arrived at around 3 pm and prepared competition make-up and hairstyles. First performance of Voranc girls was at 17:20 in the absolute category of groups without apparatus. AGG team competed as number 1 and made a great routine. The improvement since the last performance was really seen and we're satisfied with it. There's still a lot to change and improve, but we still have two months until Worlds. RG team competed as 7th with Albatraoz routine, which was defenitely better than one week ago at Dream TiM cup and we were satisfied with the final results. They scored 9,150 with a high difficulty score 5,500 and execution 3,650, which put them on 3rd place out of 8 teams. At 19:00 girls competed

Yesterday our senior RG group competed at International tournament Dream TiM Cup in Ljubljana. This was their first competition this season and in this new composition. Girls were satisfied with the performance, but the score should be higher. The category of Junior & Senior Groups without apparatus started at around 10 o'clock. Our girls competed as the last in category. The routine was well performed, with small execution mistakes, but the energy was great. They received the score of 8,750 (D 4,400 3 4,350) with second best execution score and lower difficulty than expected, but now we know what we need to work on until the 1st Championship competition next weekend. Unfortunately, they ended on 4th place, but it was a great experience and good start into the season.

As you probably already know, seven girls are part of AGG National team, which is preparing to participate at the 2019 World Championships in Aesthetic group gymnastics.
